Project: The project seeks to explore the intersections of Catholic parochial schools and Catholic-run Native American boarding schools (NABS) in the eighteenth century. Specific foci include parallels between the negative effects on Indigenous communities and the Catholic school system overall and the role of Catholic-Protestant relations in the development of schools.
