Paolo Luca Bernardini

Paolo Luca Bernardini is a professor of Early Modern and Modern History and the founder of the Department of Human Sciences, Innovation, and Territory at Insubria University in Como, Italy. He holds degrees from the University of Genoa and the European University Institute, Florence, and researches the history of early modern and modern innovation.
 
 
Project: The project seeks to explore Barbara Ward’s wartime writing in the context of her formation as an economist and advocate. Examining the collection of Ward’s works at Lauinger Library will contribute to a larger reassessment of early environmentalism and Christian environmentalism.
